Is two better than one?
University of Missouri-Columbia researchers wondered if combining green tea with exercise could provide even better results. The researchers gave a maze and nest building test to a group of mice with Alzheimer’s. Then these mice were fed water spiked with green tea extract and placed an exercise wheel in their cage.
When the mice took the tests again, they scored much better. Not only did they behave with more sharpness, their brain was physically healthier too. Analysis of their brain tissue showed a marked decrease in beta amyloid plaque buildup.
How to multiply the health benefits of green tea
From cataracts to Cancer, every known disease is associated with inflammation and oxidative stress. So the better you fight off the two, the heathier your entire mind and body can stay.
You can multiply the effects of green tea by adding a common nutrient called quercetin.
Major cancer studies show quercetin increases green tea’s antioxidant capacity up to 4 times. This effectively reduces risk of many common types of cancer.
